I have been painting and drawing as long as I can remember.  My mom likes to tell the story of my kindergarten class getting out at the end of the day and most kids having one painting that they did that day, but I had a stack of five!

While I love painting landscapes and still life studies, I have always been most fascinated by painting people.  My father was affectionately know as "everyone's friend" because of his love for the people around him, and he was kind enough to pass that love to me.  In my portraits, I try to show the personality behind the face.  I like to use bold colors and brush work to bring life to the portraits I create.

In addition to painting, my wife, Dawn, and I also have a graphic design business in Pittsburgh, PA.  I thank God for the talent and desire to create which He has blessed me with.
